I believe the body holds ancient wisdom. Through active listening and touch we can learn to reconnect and how to communicate with our bodies.

I am sensitive to the individual needs of all of my clients, trauma being one of those. My top priority is for you to feel safe and comfortable during our sessions. We will work together to address your body and mind’s specific needs and if this means modifying our sessions or working slowly towards specific goals we can do that.

I work with clients from all walks of life. You are welcome regardless of age, sex, gender identity, race, religion.

Perinatal Massage

When working with clients during pregnancy my goal is to help you adjust to your changing body. Through relaxation, gentle mobilization into therapeutic work if requested.

During birth, by goal is to help you release tension, relax and find comfort. These sessions will vary as client needs, preferences, locations all vary. We may use techniques such as stretching and touch-release as well as gentle strokes and compression. Massage during labor may include heat, cooling, aromatherapy and more.

During the immediate postpartum period my focus is providing gentle relaxation and healing while reintegration with your body. This may include abdominal massage and scar mobilization as desired. From 4 weeks up to a year postpartum my focus shifts to helping address discomfort from posture changes, therapeutic work and relaxation.

Posture Assessment

30 minute add on

Posture assessment prior to your massage. Detailed suggestions and posture adjustments given after the session, including but not limited to sitting and sleeping positions, breastfeeding posture etc.

*For longer distances (travel time of 1 hour or more) rates will include an additional travel fee.
